This series of Nimonic 80A round bars are manufactured by hot rolling, forging or cold‑drawing from air‑melted or vacuum‑remelted superalloy ingots, followed by solution annealing to achieve uniform austenitic matrix microstructure. Standard delivery state is solution‑annealed soft blank for rough & finish CNC machining. Final high‑temperature mechanical properties are obtained by multi‑stage stabilization plus aging precipitation hardening heat‑treatment.
Nimonic 80A is classic wrought precipitation‑hardening nickel‑chromium superalloy. Aluminum‑titanium elements form nano‑sized γ′ intermetallic precipitates, delivering outstanding creep‑rupture resistance under sustained high‑temperature load up to 815°C. It exhibits reliable high‑temperature anti‑oxidation performance. Widely processed into gas‑turbine blades & rings, high‑strength high‑temperature bolts, internal‑combustion‑engine exhaust valves, nuclear‑plant support components and hot‑working tool blanks for aerospace, power‑generation, automotive high‑performance engine and nuclear‑energy industries.
